Fielding Dreams Campaign

One in three of all high school students participate in one or more team sport each year.

Soon, all eight high schools will have a freshman, reserve, junior varsity, and varsity girls’ and boys’ team for most sports. Additionally, each school has a marching band, dance team, flag corps and multiple cheer squads, all of which need practice and performance spaces.

Our students need more space so they can participate in the activities they love.

The 2020 school bond included $15.4 million toward activity complexes at the new Northwest and Standing Bear high schools. The Fielding Dreams Capital Campaign will help raise the remaining $17.6 million to make this vision a reality.

Facilities at Northwest High School, opening fall 2022, are needed more quickly than others, so a two-phase approach is being used with both sites being completed by 2024.
